Hi there! First started with an air-rifle at about 13, with a Diana 22 then left, only to return in my early 30's! Have a small collection but enjoy making stocks, restoring and modding my own and others.

Hi all fellow airgunners! I'm verry happy to have been invited to join this new forum. Hopefully it will be full of airgun info and short on bullshit.
I am relatively new to airgunning but have become hoplessly addicted.

Good clean looking forum Shaqa.
I started shooting air rifle with a Bobcat when I was nine and got my HW77 when I was 13 and still shoot with it to this day. Started shooting with a PCP S400 a couple of years ago so I could shoot while pregnant. I now try to shoot with both however the HW77 is still my favourite but the PCP produces better results shooting Silhouettes.
I mainly shoot Silhouettes these days and did my first international shoot at the Pacific Regionals last Nov and was very happy with the results.

I like to shoot all kinds of guns, airguns included. I enjoy FT as the extra challenges help hide my poor shooting technique.

Hello everyone.. Been shooting with airguns since I was a kid, but learning about them since about 2008.. Looking forward to the arrival of a Theoben Rapid Mk II .25 cal which I previously owned and sold on, which will form the basis of my possum hunting artillery! Great to be a part of the new forum at the early stages! Good to see some familiar names already.. Cade

Hi All I've been into Air rifles to some degree for the last 5 years but only really been serious about FT for about 2. Massively into springers of all kinds. Keen on pest control too so if you're out my way and keen to hunt small game, give me a pm.

Scout Here, Started Air Gunning about 13 months ago, out of desperation to keep the Possums off of my wifes roses and vege patch. Killed a Kral Springer in less than 2 weeks, upgraded to the Gamo Shadow CSI 1000. After my first shoot at Shaqa's I was doing GRT upgrades, Macarri Spring and Kanyons tune Kit, adding a leapers 6-24 AO Scope. 5 Months later my first PCP, an original Daystate Huntsman with Brass Cylinder. A lot of strip down and Tuning to get a consistant 30 Shot string and added an 8*32 Leapers and Side wheel. Recently purchased a Daystate Harrier, with a DJ Custom Rosewood stock - this is nowmy FT beast and has worked out well for the 2 shoots it has been on. The Huntsman is now sporting a Beech stock and Mueller APT and is my dedicated hunter, easily taking down acorns at 45 metres. Never thought I would ever own a gun of any kind - but you never know the path life is going to take you 80+ Rabbits and 14 possums later I am hooked on both the Hunting and FT areas of this sport.

Gidday Troops, Some of you may know me from such things as......anyway's i've been shooting since about 13 in Army cadets then moved to the British Army and shot lots of big boy stuff!! As for air guns, finding i had rats in the garden eating the bird food started me off back in 02/3 borrowed a mates AATX200 for a while then bought me a BSA Lightning with a simmons 3-9x40 scope. That sufficed to kill heaps of UK rabbits and rats. The Daystatex2 Sports arrived with my pension after a long recce to find out what suited me. Now i reside in Palmy and like to hunt. But even with age we never stop learning and its always good to share experiences whether when out on a hunt or just havin a beer.

Um, my name is -----k, and I've been an airgun addict for almost 3 years now. There, I said it. Started with a Norica Dragon, got used to its affect, then moved to some harder stuff - two Cometas. Unfortunately, things went really bad and I found myself wtih an FAL and some rimfires as well. I try and have a quick fix at home indoors, but manage to get to the Howick Indoor rehab range every couple of weeks for some controlled usage. You may find me out at night every weekend or so wondering in the dark, looking for wildlife. Sniff.

Hi all, Thanks for the invite to the new site. I've owned air guns since I was a kid but only got into possum hunting about 18 months ago. Like yoman I started with a Norica Dragon .177 but soon found I needed a larger caliber for possums so I purchased .22 Cometa fusion. I have just got my FAL and have since started another addiction of powder burners but will always have a springer in the gun rack and maybe one day a pcp

So Shaq, how about a review of that Air ranger?
Do you have any problems getting your hands on decent pellets etc?

the air ranger is a beast!!!. Im experimenting with silencers at the moment because the thing is so dammed loud....certainly not very stealthy anyway!!
not sure when (or if) a review/report is coming yet.
